OIL PUMP
REMOVAL Bolts
Remove the flywheel and driven gear (refer
to the "STARTER CLUTCH" section in the
chapter 10).
Remove the bolt and then oil separator cover.
When removing and installing the oil
pump, be careful not to allow dust or dirt
to enter the engine.

Pry the snap ring off and remove the oil pump
driven gear, then remove the oil pump drive
chain.

Remove the two oil separator bolts to remove
the oil pump.
